Bio

I am a licensed architect in New York with past work experience in Baltimore, St. Louis, and Dubai. My work is focused on housing—particularly multi-family and affordable housing—where my commitment is to thoughtful design that meaningfully shapes our environment and improve everyday life.

Since joining Bernheimer Architecture in 2021, I’ve been working on a range of residential projects across New York City. Prior to that, at MBB Architects, I led the design and construction of the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation offices in Manhattan, an experience that sharpened my ability to guide projects from concept through completion.

In addition to practice, I teach as an Adjunct Professor at NYIT School of Architecture & Design. I’ve previously taught at the Michael Graves School of Architecture at Kean University. Teaching continues to shape my professional practice—as a balance between exploration, clarity, and execution.

I hold a Master of Architecture and a Master of Urban Design from Washington University in St. Louis. I live in Brooklyn and have been mentoring students through the Architectural League of New York since 2020.

Process

My process begins with listening—understanding your goals, constraints, and the specific conditions of the project. Every project is different, and I approach each one with a focus on clarity and intent rather than a predetermined style.

Early design is highly iterative. I work through sketches, diagrams, and digital models to test ideas quickly and establish a strong conceptual direction. From there, the process becomes more precise—aligning design decisions with code requirements, budget, and constructability.

Throughout the project, I prioritize clear communication and collaboration. Whether working with clients, consultants, or contractors, I see architecture as a coordinated effort where thoughtful decisions early on lead to better outcomes during construction.

The goal is to deliver work that is not only well-designed, but also buildable, efficient, and responsive to the people who will ultimately use the space.
